Hours: 8pm to 8am (Minimum of 2 nights per week)
A successful Palliative Care Staff Nurse – Band 5 will:
Be a key member of the multi-disciplinary team.
Have excellent communication, interpersonal and organisational skills are essential.
Utilise your advanced nursing skills and knowledge to care for our patients with life limiting conditions.
Have a can-do, enthusiastic attitude.
Experience of palliative care is desirable; it is not essential as we can offer support through our training and development programme.
Be a compassionate and caring nurse who will play a key role in planning, implementing, and evaluating evidence based individualised nursing care.
You will also possess excellent organisational, interpersonal and communication skills and be able to lead and motivate others.
A successful candidate will have:
Current NMC Registration
RN educated to Diploma or Degree level
Evidence of recent professional updating and relevant personal development
Palliative care qualification
Mentorship qualification
UK Registration
